Terrell Liedstrand - Guitar, Violin, Ukulele, & Piano

Terrell Liedstrand began playing music at an early age. His parents are professional musicians, and while growing up immersed in the fun of a musical household he learned several stringed instruments. During middle school and high school Terrell played violin in the orchestras, guitar in jazz bands and sang in choral ensembles. He then went on to study music at Diablo Valley College and in the Conservatory of Music at University of the Pacific where he began, but has yet to finished, a Master Degree in Music Therapy.  Here he studied many aspects of music including theory, history, classical guitar, piano, singing, and the therapeutic use of music in educational, clinical  and community settings.  Terrell performs music regularly as a solo artist and in various music groups with friends and professionals.  He currently teaches guitar, violin, piano, ukulele and mandolin lessons.

Michael Solomon

Michael Solomon is a Conservatory Music (RCM) certified piano instructor with over 15 years of experience teaching and working in the music industry. In addition to beginning, intermediate, and advanced piano students, Michael is a high-level classical guitar instructor. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Music at California State University, East Bay in Hayward, CA and Royal Conservatory of Music Instructor Certification in Toronto, Canada in both piano and guitar.

Launching Nomolos Productions in 2016, Michael is the founder and president of Nomolos, producing Grammy winning artist Mario Silva’s debut recording of original compositions by Silva and Chuchito Valdez, Michael can be heard playing guitar on the album as well. In addition to collaborating with Silva and Valdez, Nomolos has recently taken on rock artist Jon Robin as well as working with reggae legend Earl Zero. 

He loves working with students of all ages and skill sets who are dedicated and motivated to improve their musicianship. You will get a well-rounded education including music theory, sight reading, technique, and improvising. Whether you’re looking for classical and Baroque styles, Jazz, Blues, Latin, or Contemporary Pop, Michael will keep you excited and engaged during the learning process.

RCM lesson pricing are $42.50 per 30 min 1:1.

Jeremy Greene

Jeremy Greene is a multi-instrumentalist who has been studying and playing music for over 30 years and teaching for over 10. He started on piano in grade school, switched focus to saxophone in middle school, and picked up guitar while playing in bands throughout high school and college. Jeremy started teaching guitar, bass, drums, keyboards, woodwinds, and vocals in the early 2010's with both private students and through music programs around the Bay Area. A veteran of the professional music industry for over a decade and a half, Jeremy has learned how to keep the passion for music alive throughout his musical career, and is always excited to pass that on to the next generation and beyond.

Nick Bang

Nick Bang began teaching and developing his own private voice and piano studio in his early twenties, and he’s reminded on a daily basis how important music is in peoples’ lives. For Nick, music is a key element to feeling happy and fulfilled. He can't imagine life without music, like imagining life without air or water. Through teaching, he's discovered this is the case for many people, and nothing brings him more joy than helping people nurture and hone their skills in such a vital aspect of the human experience.

Nick specializes in working with young and developing musicians. His extensive knowledge of technique and sensitivity to the adolescent mind make him the perfect candidate to work with young people. Nick received his bachelor's degree in music with an emphasis on Vocal Performance from CSU East Bay in Hayward. While pursuing his degree, he performed in numerous musicals and operas and put on multiple solo recitals. Upon graduating, he focused mainly on developing his private voice and piano studio. However, as a popular and respected teacher in the Lamorinda area, Nick also works as a vocal coach for both Campolindo and Miramonte High School.

Jake Nunn

Jake Nunn is a professional musician and is the founder/lead vocalist/guitarist of Hysteria, as well as the lead vocalist/rhythm guitarist of the Oakland-based heavy metal band Hell Fire. He has gigged and toured alongside some of the most notable names in the metal genre, such as Death Angel, Jason Newsted (Metallica), Saxon, Exodus, High On Fire, The Casualties, and many more. Between Hysteria and Hell Fire, Jake has recorded and released 5 full length albums and will be releasing a 6th with Hell Fire in 2021.
Jake began his journey towards becoming a professional musician at the age of 5 and has dedicated his life to his passion for music. He specializes in guitar, but also teaches rock vocals, bass, and ukelele. With over 12 years of teaching experience; Jake’s laid back, comprehensive teaching style makes him an ideal teacher for students of all ages and genres.

Carl Rosenblum

Carl Rosenblum attended Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. He has toured with Herb Reed and the Platters and has signed and recorded at CBS Records in NYC. He has also toured with Bobby Vincent, a Boston TV celebrity. He has played at the Boston Playboy clubs, and at the Fairmont, Mark Hopkins and St. Francis hotels in San Francisco. Carl has also played in pit orchestras in Tri-Valley and Starstruck productions during the past ten years.

Carl’s exceptional interpersonal skills help build a great rapport with his students and their parents. He is both excited and prepared to teach music to children of all ages.
